Well here's a little application I found today called Stinger, and made by McAfee, like the title says.And what can this little baby do?Well this is not a proper antivirus, no, it's just a virus scanner you can use to get rid of viruses that already infected your PC.It's pretty cool because Stinger utilizes next generation scan engine technology, including process scanning, digitally signed DAT files, and scan performance optimizations. Nice huh?Well yes but the bad part until now about it is that it only scans and destroys 2096 most common seen viruses and malware, so if you don't have those, this can't actually do something for you.
Still, it's free of use, it's only a single exe which you can carry on a DVD or a Memory Stick because it is also very small.You can get the latest version of it here.
