Crunchbang Linux announced the end of it's Ubuntu based predecessor

Crunchbang Linux ,one of my favorite lightweight distros, which is now based on Debian  announced that the Ubuntu based-on version reached the end of its life.
The Statler design is an important step towards a unique linux philosophy.Minimalist and dark is better. They always say the site must reflect the distribution.Well the new site does just that.
Just take a look at the site while reading the announcement here.
If you didn't know, the CrunchBang 10 "Statler" - Alpha 2 release is based on Debian Squeeze, which means it's as rollin' as much as Linux Mint Debian edition is.Plus this one has a x64 version ready with 2 desktop environments  you can choose from: openbox and xfce4.

Give it a try.You won't regret it.
